This Week's App: Milanote

What is Milanote?

Milanote is a note tool, but it is so much more than that. What makes Milanote so special is that it provides you with a board that allows you to place ideas, notes, tasks, pictures, diagrams, and more all into one organized place.

You can see what this looks like in the example below where a user added images, annotations, videos, notes, and tasks all into one place.

What can it be used for?

Milanote provides you with a blank canvas that allows you to add almost anything to it, so its uses are almost limitless. When it comes to education we think Milanote would be a great tool to use if you or your students want to...

The power of Milanote is that it gives you and your students the flexibility to be creative while being able to clearly organize ideas.

How do I get started?

Milanote is a freemium tool so this means that it is free for you to try, but has limitations. We recommend registering for a free account to try it. With a free account, you can create enough boards of content to really get a feel for the tool. You can start learning how to create content in Milanote by checking out their Getting Started guide.

We recommend trying out one project to start if you are using it in class or use it to take notes, both will really get you used to using it. From there just enjoy the flexibility Milanote gives you!
